Mr. Gonzalez and His Social Services Division Will Identify Possible Medicaid Eligibility as Well as Providing Outreach for Our Clients Patients by Assisting Them in the Application Process.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Dec 1, 2015) - BCC Financial Management Services is pleased to announce that Mr. Gonzalez has joined THE GROWING STAFF OF HEALTHCARE PROFESIONALS AT BCC Financial Management Services. Mr. Gonzalez has spent over 15 years in the managed care industry as a director at Vista Health Plan and Vice President of social services at Preferred Care Partners helping the indigent and low income FAMILIES qualify for various government programs such as Medicaid.

Emil "Skip" Speranza, BCC's President, said, "His department will enable the company to work directly with low-income patients to determine if they qualify for MEDICAID programs and to assist them in securing aid." "Skip" also commented, "Mr. Gonzalez's department will advise those who qualify for enrollment in a particular program, assist them with the enrollment process through a Managed Care Organization (MCO) as well as helping the individual THROUGH THE ANNUAL RECERTIFICATION PROCESS TO ENSURE CONTINUED ELIGIBILITY."

Mr. Gonzalez said, "I have a long term relationship with BCC Financial Management Services that spans over two decades. It is an honor and pleasure joining the premier healthcare accounts receivable management firm in the industry." He also added, "Our department is dedicated in 'HELPING PATIENTS QUALIFY FOR GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS THEY MAY NOT BE AWARE OF.'"

Mr. Sammy Aboud, Vice President of Marketing, added, "In anticipation of issues in healthcare that would reduce cash flow or cash on hand, we have positioned our company to be a true Revenue Cycle Support entity. We have assembled a team of government payer reimbursement specialists which will help recovering dollars lost in the self-pay arena. This is due to high deductibles and the increase in the underinsured or uninsured population."

Sammy continued, "Our association with National Medical Coding (NMC) is assisting our clients in maintaining current discharge to bill days. We anticipate that the implementation of the new ICD-10 and the addition of thousands of new codes may cost hospitals more time to code that will reduce cash-flow and could trigger costly Coding Audits. One of our primary objectives is to educate in-house coders or help them with the backlog coding which at the end of the day will reduce those DNFB days."

BCC Financial Management Services, Inc. was founded in 1991, and for over the last twenty 24 years, has dedicated its efforts in servicing the accounts receivable needs of the healthcare provider community. At present, BCC is organized with a staff of professionals whose sole focus is the field of healthcare accounts receivable management. By fully utilizing executive management's experience, of over 200 combined years in Healthcare Receivable management, BCC has established for itself the reputation of being one of the premier healthcare collection organizations within the healthcare industry.

The original Coding and Staffing Company was founded in 1990, to assist hospitals with the substantial "bill hold" found in most Medical Records Departments. The primary focus was to establish a physical presence in hospital facilities on weekends and evenings to code back-logged medical records as seamlessly as possible without disturbing their current everyday operations. Its mission is strictly a support position for the facility's Information Technology staff and their effort to catch up on their enormous backlog, without making the staff feel uncomfortable with our presence, in their operations. It is now focusing on the possible disruptions of revenue and DNFB days, while the facilities are preparing for the implementation of ICD-10. Other than Interventional Radiology, our coding experts specialize in all areas, such as Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Services, Same-Day Surgery, Ancillary, Ambulatory Surgery and Recurring accounts by ICD-9 and ICD-10) and CPT-4 certified experienced professionals.
