Wong brings several years of middleware, software and technology design and consulting experience to his role at BD-BrandProtect. Prior to joining BD-BrandProtect, Wong founded middleware provider Avokia, which delivered continuous availability to mission critical applications and databases. He later assumed the position of CTO to focus on research and development of advanced technologies. Previously, Wong founded Frankie Wong & Associates, a boutique consulting firm specializing in business intelligence data mart systems design, implementation and outsourced operations. He also served as a software developer, among other roles in the IBM Toronto Laboratory, and later as solution architect at IBM Canada. Additionally, Wong was granted a United States patent for his invention of dynamic object caching technology and has also filed two U.S. patent applications for the invention of transaction replication technologies.
