BEA Systems Selects Callidus On-Demand Solution for Sales Performance Management in Americas

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - August 31, 2007) - Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), a leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM), today announced that BEA Systems, Inc. has selected the Callidus Software® On-Demand solution to help manage sales performance and incentive compensation programs for its direct sales representatives and sales management in the Americas region. Under the agreement, signed in the second quarter of 2007, BEA Systems will use Callidus True Analytics™, TrueInformation®, and TrueComp® Manager software modules to help align sales with business objectives, drive revenue, increase shareholder value and improve overall business performance.

The Callidus On-Demand software is designed to standardize incentive compensation and sales performance management practices for 600 payees throughout BEA's channels. It can provide BEA with a solution designed to achieve faster time-to-market with new products and fast and easy compensation plan changes in a highly competitive and growing industry. The solution also helps provide proper audit and controls for compliance requirements and can reduce operating expenses.

Callidus' On-Demand SPM will replace the existing Callidus on-premise solution at BEA. As with the Callidus on-premise solution, Callidus On-Demand can be used by BEA to streamline operations, help enable modeling and forecasting and increase flexibility for the rapid implementation and management of sales performance and incentive compensation.
