Beaufield Halts Schefferville Drilling Due to Road Blockade

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 3, 2012) - Beaufield Resources Inc. ("Beaufield" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BFD) has learned that some members of the Innu community in Schefferville have established a blockade of certain area roads denying access to some facilities required for mineral activities in the area. The action as Beaufield understands, relates to grievances unrelated to the companies undertaking exploration.

Beaufield is respectful of the local community and while the blockades are in effect, exploration activity, including drilling will be halted (See news release of June 13, 2012 for drilling program).

Beaufield is monitoring the situation and looking forward to resume the exploration program.

Beaufield's holdings are centrally located in the rapidly developing Schefferville camp. Earlier work has demonstrated the presence of DSO (Direct Shipping Ore) mineralization on the property. Beaufield owns a 100% interest with no third party royalties which places the company in a unique position going forward.

This news release has been prepared by Jens E. Hansen, P.Eng., President and CEO of Beaufield, the Qualified Person under section 43-101.
