Beaufield-Opinaca Drill Results and Exploration Update

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 12, 2007) - Beaufield Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BFD) is pleased to provide drill results and an exploration update on its Spring 2007, multi-target, drilling campaign on its 100%-owned Opinaca property and to outline the summer exploration program.

A nine-hole diamond drill program, for a total of 2106 metres, was recently completed on the Opinaca property. Four holes (996 metres) tested the newly discovered molybdenum-gold-copper target Kessel-Ylesia zone. Three holes (489 metres) tested the area of the Vortex zone, altered in tourmaline and mineralized in pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite. One hole (354 metres) tested the Channel zone, and finally the last hole (267 metres) tested a geophysical magnetic anomaly. A total of 1113 samples were collected.

Kessel and Ylesia zones

Four drill holes were conducted over the Kessel and Ylesia zones, a molybdenum-gold-copper target, where previously a total of 43 rock samples from quartz veins within a diorite returned an average of 0.5 g/t gold, 5.7 g/t silver, 0.2% copper and 1.1% molybdenum, including a sample grading 6.51 g/t gold, 33.6 g/t silver, 1.36% copper and 12% molybdenum (November 14, 2006 news release). Molybdenum and copper rich quartz veins were intersected in all four drill holes. At current metal prices 1% molybdenum is roughly equivalent in value to 34 g/t gold, or roughly 1 ounce/ton gold.

The drill results from the Kessel and Ylesia zones are summarized in the table below:

Vortex zone

Three drill holes were drilled to test the Vortex area, which previously returned 9.9 g/t gold and 9.5 g/t gold in outcrop and 1.1 g/t gold over 20 metre in DDH OP-06-01. Drill hole OP-07-19 (240 metre) intersected three interesting, mineralized and altered zones. The mineralization in pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite and the alteration in amphiboles and tourmaline are similar to those found on the East-Roberto zone of the Goldcorp, Eleonore project.

The best gold assay values of the Vortex zone from the April 2007 drill program are summarized in the table below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hole # From (m) To (m) Length (m) Values
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
OP-07-19 119.75 122.05 2.30 2.77 g/t Au;1.0 g/t Ag;
0,13% Cu
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Incl. 119.75 121.00 1.25 4.0 g/t Au
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
128.0 129.0 1.0 2.49 g/t Au
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
135.0 136.0 1.0 1.47 g/t Au
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drill holes OP-07-17 and OP-07-18 were drill to acquired geological informations on the sedimentary sequences and did not encounter significant mineralization. The best intersection was found in OP-07-17, between 68.05m to 74.0m, with 141 ppb Au over 5.95 metres.

Channel zone

One drill hole (354 metres) was executed on the Channel zone. DDH OP-07-20 intersected a pegmatitic dyke returning values of 5.0 g/t Au; 3.1 g/t Ag and 0.11% Mo over 0.3 metre and between 264 to 265 metre, mineralized conglomerates graded 5.8 g/t Au over 1 metre.

The best gold assay values of the Channel zone from the April 2007 drill program are summarized in the table below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hole # From (m) To (m) Length (m) Values
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
OP-07-20 3.7 4.0 0.3 5.0 g/t Au; 3.1 g/t Ag;
0.11% Mo
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
264 265 1.0 5.8 g/t Au
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drill hole OP-07-21 was positioned over a significant break located in a strong magnetic anomaly and encountered magnetite rich conglomerate, containing disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite. The structural discontinuity drilled is still unexplained.

Summer 2007 Exploration Program

Mapping and prospecting during the summer 2005 and 2006 campaign have covered only about 10% of the Opinaca Property. During summer 2007 additional targets will be identified from new areas and work will continue around existing targets, with an intensive mapping, prospecting and rock sampling program. An interesting sheared contact between volcanic and sedimentary sequences will also be investigated. On Opinaca West, a series of strong electromagnetic conductors will be investigated by rock sampling.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Core processing included descriptive logging and systematic sampling for analysis. The drill core was completely split in half, with one half delivered to a commercial laboratory and the other half retained for future reference, gold assays were performed at ALS CHEMEX Laboratories in Val d'Or, Quebec. The processed samples were submitted to a standard Fire Assay with AA technique (Au-AA-23) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectroscopy (ME-ICP-41) on a 30 gram sub-sample.
