LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - October 12, 2016) - Beazley, a pioneer in cyber and data breach response insurance, has appointed Aidan Flynn as a technology, media and business services senior underwriter focused on addressing the data breach and cyber security risks of large US companies. He will work out of the company's London office.
Mr Flynn joins Beazley from Axis Capital, where he was a senior technology, e&o and cyber underwriter for US-domiciled and international risks. Prior to that, he was a senior member of Marsh's London-based FINPRO team working with a select group of key clients.
Beazley is a leader in errors and omissions (e&o) and cyber insurance coverage for companies in technology, media and other industries, backed by an experienced and innovative claims team. In April, Beazley partnered with the world's largest reinsurer, Munich Re, to offer custom enterprise wide cyber protection for the world's largest businesses. Since the launch of Beazley Breach Response, a comprehensive services-based solution to data breaches in 2009, Beazley has helped clients handle more than 4,000 data breaches.
