BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 30, 2015) - Bebaio, a Boston-based software start-up targeting the Internet of Things (IoT) market, announced today that they have closed an initial funding round of $1.5M.

Bebaio was started earlier this year by veterans of the Web Content Management industry. The company plans to use the seed capital to fund the build-out of their cloud-based marketing platform designed for companies targeting consumers of smart, Internet-connected products.

"All businesses in the consumer product industry are facing a revolution in how they can engage with and market to their customers," said Bill Rogers, Bebaio CEO and Co-Founder. The revolution is coming from the unprecedented level of customer access and insights these connected products provide. Bebaio's core mission is to help businesses tap the extraordinary potential of this Internet of Things with digital marketing tools that increase customer engagement and drive revenue through connected product applications."
