Bell Sensplex to host Ottawa Senators Adult Hockey League beginning in September

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 16, 2013) - In partnership with the Ottawa Senators, the Bell Sensplex has announced the launch of the Ottawa Senators Adult Hockey League (OSAHL), which is set to run for the first time from September 2013 through April 2014. Formerly known as the BSAHL, the newly branded adult recreational league will become Ottawa's largest.

The league will feature a variety of Senators-themed benefits for members, including access to discounted tickets and merchandise for league participants, league group nights at Senators home games, flexible benefit opportunities and Senators-related prizing for league champions at season's end.

"We're excited to partner with the Senators and very much looking forward to officially debuting our adult recreational league with games in September," said Bell Sensplex programs manager Andy Bryan. "In coupling exisiting league features with an array of Senators-related benefits, we're confident that the OSAHL will remain the primary choice for Ottawa-area recreational hockey players."

The OSAHL will operate primarily out of the Bell Sensplex for the duration of the 2013-14 season, but will expand to encompass a city-wide setup when the Richcraft Sensplex opens in the east-end of Ottawa ahead of 2014-15. A summer component of the league will also be offered beginning next May. Early bird registration rates will be offered through Aug. 1, in the men's, women's and 35-plus divisions.
