Bell Sensplex to Host Third Annual Media Challenge Hockey Tournament on April 27

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2011) - In conjunction with the Sens Foundation and the Ottawa chapter of Autism Ontario, the Bell Sensplex is preparing to host the third annual Media Challenge Hockey Tournament on Wednesday, April 27. The tournament, which will feature between four and eight teams and is open to players of all skill levels, is currently accepting registrations via the event's web site, located at http://www.bellsensplex.ca/tournaments-adult.php.

Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of two games, while some will qualify for additional semi-final and/or championship games. All tournament games will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Bell Sensplex and will be officiated by certified CARHA (Canadian Adult Recreational Hockey Association) referees.

The tournament is open to those working in the media industry and provides an opportunity to network while raising funds for autism in the Ottawa region. One hundred (100) per cent of the day's net proceeds will be directed to the Sens Foundation in support of Autism Ontario.
