BELL20, a New American Tavern Opens at Arlington, VA Hotel

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - BELL20, at the corner of Bell and 20^th Streets, is the latest addition to vibrant dining scene in Arlington's Crystal City district. A convenient watering hole to gather at before a night out or a place to unwind after a long day at work, this Ronald Reagan National Airport hotel's modern tavern features Chef Parnell Morton's take on American comfort food and classic British pub fare.

Ideal for lunch, dinner and after-work gatherings, BELL20's menu offers a variety of plates to share such as Port City Ale mussels, short rib sliders, peel and eat shrimp, garlic fries, crab and shrimp fritters and chicken wings tossed in classic Buffalo or sweet chili sauce. An array of sandwich standards are also available such as the eight ounce, BELL20 burger with Maytag blue and caramelized onions, the classic crab cake on brioche with Old Bay tartar sauce, and a meatloaf Applewood smoked bacon sandwich with house made pickles. Desserts include a variety of cakes and pies as well as childhood favorites like fresh baked cookies and milk.

Local and regional microbrew beers such as Alexandria's Port City Brewery and Old Dominion ales complete the restaurant's selection of over 30 American and international draught and bottled beers. BELL20's wine menu features a good mix of California, European and other world selections, both big-label and boutique, moderately priced. Wines by glass are offered in 3-ounce or 6-ounce pours. The Washington, DC Airport hotel's restaurant will feature a rotation of daily drink specials.
