Benjamin F. Edwards & Co.: New Offices, New Advisors Anchor Ongoing Growth


ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - October 17, 2016) - Six new advisors and three new offices cap off the latest period of activity for St. Louis-based financial services firm Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., company officials announced today.

Three advisors joined a new office in Concord, N.H., while the firm also opened a Laconia, N.H. location with one advisor. In addition, two financial advisors joined the company's existing office in Mandeville, La. Collectively, the new advisors manage just over $450 million in client assets.

A new location in Sugar Grove, Ill. rounds out the office openings. Working from this location is an advisor who is moving from the company's LaSalle-Peru location. The openings announced today give the firm 59 offices in 25 states.

Concord, N.H.
Opening and working from the firm's new location in Concord are the following:

Robert H. "Bob" Gile, Vice President - Investments: A 45-year veteran of the financial securities industry, Gile concentrates on advisory portfolio services and wealth management.

Greg Zini, Financial Consultant: Zini began his financial services career in 2014 and focuses on retirement planning and investment management. Previously, he worked as a mathematics teacher and boy's tennis coach at Norwell High School in Norwell, MA. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Gordon College in 2008.

Helping the team with their client service responsibilities is Lois Parker who joins the office as operations manager.

All are transferring from Wedbush Securities.

Laconia, N.H.
Opening and working in Laconia is:

Richard L. Breton, Vice President - Investments: Breton brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, and concentrates on financial planning strategies. He also transfers from Wedbush Securities.

Mandeville, La.

Joining the firm's Mandeville location is Danielson-Tate Wealth Management, which includes the following:

Rick S. Danielson, Senior Vice President - Investments: Danielson began his financial services career in 2004. He focuses on retirement planning and preserving retirement income through proper asset allocation and portfolio diversification.

Douglas C. Tate, ADPA®, CLTC, CLU®, CMFC®, CRPC®; Vice President - Investments: Tate entered the securities industry in 2011, and concentrates on business owner services and wealth management. Previously he worked in the field of medical technology, and focused on business development through sales, marketing and training.

Both are transferring from Merrill Lynch.

With the latest additions, total employment in the Mandeville office is 11, nine of which are financial advisors. The Mandeville office opened in 2013.

Sugar Grove, Ill.

Kevin A. Skogsberg, senior vice president - investments, recently joined the firm's LaSalle-Peru, Ill., office in September 2016 and will now work from the firm's new Sugar Grove, Ill. office. With this office addition, the firm has 11 offices in the state of Illinois.
