Alison Parrott would have celebrated her 36th birthday this September. Lesley Parrott will commemorate this day by participating in the "walk to remember". On September 26th, along with a team of supporters, most of whom have also suffered the loss of a child or spouse, she will be participating in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge hoping to raise funds and awareness for Bereaved Families of Ontario- Toronto, the organization that gave her grief a voice and of which she ultimately served as Chair.

The pain of losing Alison never goes away. The dull ache will always remain for Lesley and all those who have lost a loved one. The "walk to remember" celebrates the lives of those who mean so much to us and enables Lesley and her team support that next parent or child that will need a place to voice their grief.
