AURORA, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2015) - BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to announce that it is a sponsor of the STARS event taking place Friday, April 17 at Austin Fashion Week in Austin, Texas. The event will feature collections by eight prominent designers and an opportunity to meet the designers in person. BERNINA will also recognize design excellence by providing one emerging designer with a special gift during the event. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to experience the BERNINA 880 (B 880) machine and BERNINA's CutWork and PaintWork design software prior to the runway shows and during intermission. The STARS event will take place in the Austin Music Hall, located at 208 Nueces St. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
