Best Actress Nominee, Wendy Davis, Looks Ravishing in an Ali Rahimi Original

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 5, 2011) - Nominee Wendy Davis, of Lifetime's hit show "Army Wives," shimmers across the 42nd NAACP Image Awards red carpet in this sparkling chocolate brown evening gown created by Ali Rahimi.

"I had several gowns to choose from," said Davis, "but, fell in love with this one the moment I tried it on. Ali really understands a woman's body and designs to flatter every curve."

In his 20 years designing in Los Angeles, Rahimi has dressed A-List celebrities such as Queen Latifah, Angela Bassett and Alfre Woodard. Rahimi also designs striking accessories for men and women and tuxedoes and other garments for men. He also creates more casual pieces, such as the iconic pink suit worn by Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde 2" or the outfits for Jane Lynch in the television hit show "Glee" in their rendition of Madonna's "Vogue" video.

While continuing to design for his private clientele -- and those who also require being "Red Carpet Ready," Rahimi will also be lecturing and teaching master classes throughout the country. Simultaneously, he also is in training for Aids Life Cycle 10 (ALC 10) -- an annual fundraising event where he will be biking from San Francisco to Los Angeles. This 545 mile bike ride raises funds for those affected by AIDS and HIV. Rahimi has drawn clients from around the world with his impeccable attention to detail and exquisite creations. He and his partner, John Barle, provide each client with attentive and personal service in the beautiful Mon Atelier salon, located in Los Angeles.
