Best Cars for New Drivers

LEEDS, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 1, 2012) - New drivers are always keen to get behind the wheel and enjoy their new found freedom on the road; however, some wheels are better equipped to handle first time drivers than others.

As the cost of insurance for young and new drivers is typically higher than those with experience, budget is something that will have to be taken into consideration.

Asda Money research reveals hatchback vehicles are the most popular cars. Some 42% of those polled said that hatchbacks are the next type of car they will buy followed by Saloons (16%). These types of car can be great for both new and experienced drivers.*

With that in mind Asda Money reveals some of the best cars for new drivers that won't break the bank.
