Bestselling Author Jacqueline Mitchard Headlines Talk Show With "Desperate Housewives" Star Brenda Strong for Mother's Day Special

CHELSEA, VT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 11, 2006 -- Mom Writer's Talk Radio, the premier online/podcast show for writing moms, is thrilled to announce its special Mother's Day show with Bestselling Author Jacquelyn Mitchard and ABC's "Desperate Housewives" actress Brenda Strong. The program begins airing May 12th. Jacquelyn Mitchard's first novel "The Deep End of the Ocean" was chosen as Oprah's first book choice. In 1999, the book was turned into a major motion picture starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Treat Williams and Brenda Strong. Brenda, now the voice of Mary Alice Young on the hit series "Desperate Housewives," plays the part of Ellen, Michelle Pfeiffer's best friend in the movie.
