Bette Midler Gives Fans More Opportunities to See Her Vegas Extravaganza With New Block of Tickets for Sale

Performances From Aug. Through Nov. 2009 Go on Sale Saturday, April 18

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) - Bette Midler is back with sequins, feathers and fun galore! Fans now have more chances to see The Showgirl Must Go On at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this year, with 36 new show dates from Aug. 11-Sept. 6, Oct. 14-25 and Nov. 3-15, 2009 going up for sale this Saturday, April 18.

Bette Midler's 90-minute extravaganza flaunts plenty of girls and gags and features an enchanting repertoire of her greatest hits, with some of Midler's favorite characters like Delores Delago -- the wheelchair-bound mermaid -- and Soph, the oldest living showgirl in Las Vegas. Amongst the backdrop of a glittering Broadway-style theatre, Midler and her entourage of talented performers light up the stage in an energetic, comical, and visually stunning spectacle.

On Saturday, April 18 the following performance dates for The Showgirl Must Go On will be available for sale:

--  Aug. 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30
--  Sept. 1, 2, 4, 5, 6
--  Oct. 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25
--  Nov. 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15

Fans who can't wait until August to catch the Divine Miss M. can see her upcoming shows in May and June, now currently on sale.

Tickets for The Showgirl Must Go On start at $95 and can be purchased by calling 1-877-7BETTEM (723-8836) or logging on keyword "Bette Midler." Tickets may also be purchased in person at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Showgirl Must Go On is performed approximately 100 times a year, five nights per week at 7:30 p.m.; the show is dark on Mondays, Thursdays, and occasional Fridays.
