Bettina Lee's "Fors Humanitas" Joins Children's Hospital LA to Provide Unparalleled Educational Support for Ill Children

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2015) - Ill children do not receive enough support from the US educational system. Fors Humanitas is putting a stop to that. The organization is one of LA's only non-profits dedicated to providing educational and financial resources for children and families facing financial troubles, ill health, and other debilitating obstacles that prevent them from achieving their education and career goals. Now, founder Bettina Lee has announced an exciting venture in partnership with Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) and its new CEO, Paul Viviano, that will extend their services to patients at CHLA while continuing their work with UCLA.

"CHLA does incredible work," said Bettina Lee. "Their patients receive top-quality care and our services are only going to elevate what they're capable of achieving. I'm so excited to begin working with them!"

"I'm thrilled to have Bettina Lee and Fors Humanitas offer extra assistance to help our patients," said Paul Viviano, President and CEO of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. "I'm confident that their services will add immeasurable value to our program."

LAUSD teacher on site at CHLA, Aloi Chung, added, "I'm happy that Bettina has joined us. Her program has been highly successful at UCLA and we're excited to have her do the same here."

Bettina Lee created Fors Humanitas in 2012 alongside a dedicated group of educators and medical professionals to offer services like counseling, tutoring, mentoring, and scholarships to their beneficiaries. Bettina Lee and Fors Humanitas have received praise from their associates at UCLA, Mattel Children's Hospital, and the Hearts of Hope Foundation, all of whom Fors Humanitas will continue their charitable work with.
