BFI Canada Income Fund Sets Date of Annual and Special Meeting of Unitholders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 26, 2008) - BFI Canada Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:BFC.UN) announced today that it will hold an Annual and Special Meeting of Unitholders at The Toronto Board of Trade, 1 First Canadian Place, Toronto, ON, M5X 1C1, on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Shareholders of record at the close of business on April 3, 2008 shall be entitled to vote at the 2008 Annual and Special Meeting of Unitholders.

At the meeting, unitholders will vote on the election of trustees, the appointment of auditors, and a special resolution concerning amendments to the Fund's incentive compensation plans.
