BG Urban Cafe Restaurants Celebrate Grand Opening with New Look and Menu: Formerly Bread Garden, New Ownership & Strategy Positions BG Urban Cafe Brand as Industry Leader

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 16, 2011) - The BG Urban Café(SM) brand is proud to announce the grand opening of the Company's rebranded fast-casual restaurants, formally known as Bread Garden. After serving customers for over 30 years, BG Urban Café brand has introduced a fresh new look and menu that ensures quality food fast without compromising taste or nutrition.

To kick off the brand's official Grand Opening month on May 18, 2011, all BG Urban Café locations will be offering one FREE Cinanamon Knot pastry to all customers that come in to any of the 13 locations across B.C. The Cinanamon Knot pastry is a signature menu item for the Restaurant, regularly priced at $2.99 plus tax.

With 13 locations throughout Greater Vancouver and British Columbia, BG Urban Café and BG Urban Grill(SM) locations will have spent 6 months and over $750,000 transforming and modernizing the brand through extensive improvements in restaurant decor, brand identity, marketing and menu development.

While some food favorites remain from the original Bread Garden menu, the new menu was developed with an emphasis on premium ingredients and healthy meal choices. Each menu item is hand crafted, baked and prepared in house each morning. BG restaurants offer a selection of fresh green salads and soups for those with gluten restrictions or simply looking for healthy meal choices. All locations are now licensed to offer a variety of alcoholic beverage options and have a big screen to catch your favorite televised event.

The BG Urban Café brand has also extended its refreshed menu to the Company's catering services. With 4 locations in the Vancouver downtown core, the brand is excited to provide catered, healthy, made to order meals for the corporate community.
