Data Solutions Inc. (TSX:MMD)(NASDAQ:MDSI)

BGE HOME, a Maryland based provider of home improvement, appliance
service, plumbing and electrical sales and service, and HVAC sales and
services, has selected MDSI Mobile Data Solutions' Advantex r7 software
to manage its field service operations.

For BGE HOME, Advantex will replace an earlier version of MDSI's
software used for scheduling, work order assignment, dispatching, and
managing fieldwork. Advantex r7 will also enable dispatchers to use GPS
to locate and monitor the exact position of the fleet on detailed maps.
Field workers will be able to use Street Level Routing to identify the
quickest route between assignments, sequence assignments to minimize
driving time, and request driving directions on-demand. Advantex
Business Intelligence will enable managers to monitor workforce
performance and control operational costs.

According to Kevin Klages, BGE HOME's Chief Operating Officer, "We have
had a very positive experience working with MDSI in the past. They
understand our business needs and that is reflected in their product,
Advantex. Advantex is a natural choice to help us going forward. Using
Advantex Compose, we can configure the solution quickly and easily
ourselves, as our business changes and grows."

"We are pleased to receive continuing validation of Advantex r7 from
long-time customers like BGE HOME. We look forward to building our
relationship with BGE HOME well into the future as their business needs
change and grow," commented Erik Dysthe, MDSI's President, CEO and
Chairman. "Advantex r7 is the only mobile workforce management solution
available that is scalable and flexible enough to meet those challenges."

Advantex helps companies provide better customer service and improves
field productivity. It automatically schedules and dispatches work
orders, and helps field workers, supervisors and dispatchers record and
manage their work throughout the day and report results wirelessly, in
real time.
