Bharosa Introduces "Ready-to-Deploy" Online Security Option for Mid-Sized Enterprises

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 9, 2006 -- Bharosa, a global provider of secure, multifactor authentication and active fraud detection solutions, today announced the company has introduced an appliance-based option for mid-sized businesses. This move enables Bharosa to meet rising demand in new markets for a low-cost, pre-configured "lite" version of Bharosa's Tracker product, which has achieved rapid success among the Fortune 1000 and is currently licensed to more than 12.6M users in 66 countries.

The appliance-based option will incorporate a "starter kit" that expedites the application deployment process. It will also include basic fraud detection functionality of Bharosa Tracker, including basic asset authentication, utilizing Tracker's device fingerprinting capability.

"While large enterprises benefit from Tracker's fully loaded transaction anomaly detection and asset authentication features, as well as sophisticated analytics, risk modeling, simulation and integration tools," said Thomas Varghese, president and CTO of Bharosa, "many midsize businesses are simply seeking an out-of-the-box solution to meet the onslaught of online threats, as well as meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other security and compliance needs." Bharosa's appliance-based solution gives these businesses a fast and simple way to utilize basic Tracker features in-house, with minimal implementation assistance required.

The appliance and associated starter kit contain all the tools needed to implement an out-of-the-box version of Bharosa's Tracker product; Bharosa's package includes industry-standard capabilities for installation and setup, as well as an API for integrating the application with other parts of the infrastructure. The package will be available in late July 2006.
