BEAVERTON, OR--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - Today Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, announced the launch of the company's dialer application for iPhone and iPad. The Biamp Dialer, which will soon be available in the Apple App Store(SM), allows users to conveniently carry their conference settings with them anywhere and easily manage calls facilitated by Biamp's Audia and Nexia product lines.
Using the intuitive interface, users can access their contact list to initiate conference calls rather than using a dial pad and manually entering phone numbers. The Biamp Dialer application works with Audia and Nexia to enable better control of calls. The app offers two level controls for the best audio quality and intelligibility when conferencing. Additionally, the app has a speed dial function for even more convenience and control.
"Wireless devices enable us to carry our personal information everywhere we go, from our homes to our offices," said Matt Czyzewski, Vice President of Business Development, Biamp Systems. "There's no reason why a company needs to invest in an expensive, disparate control system, nor should users have to learn how to use a different touch panel each time they attend a meeting. With the Biamp Dialer App, users can control all rooms and areas they need to control on a single device, and access their customized presets for any meeting, in any setting. It's another innovative solution for today's conferencing needs."
The Biamp Dialer App will soon be available for purchase in the Apple App Store for $5.00.
