Product Updates Provide Greater Ease-of-Use and New Capabilities for BidSync Links and Links PLUS Solutions

New enhancements include the industry's first service that delivers government bid notification reports via SMS text messaging, a new bid center tool to help users better manage and track government bids, and a major update to the system's user interface, culminating in a more streamlined and intuitive customer experience.

BidSync Links PLUS and BidSync Links solutions enable subscribers to receive customized reports with government bid, RFP and contract opportunities specifically suited for their business and offerings.

BidSync Links PLUS text message reports:

Links PLUS subscribers are now able to receive daily bid notification alerts via text. This provides yet another avenue for vendors to stay up to date on the latest bids that specifically align and match their profile. The text message will provide the number of new bids and a link to a mobile version of their daily report.

Convenient new mobile screens have been developed so customers can login, view daily bid reports, and view Links PLUS bid details directly from their mobile phones. This provides customers another way to receive and review relevant bid opportunities from anywhere, which helps them maintain a competitive edge by receiving critical information quickly and conveniently.

New "Bid Centers" for bid management:

The Links and Links PLUS Bid Centers are a direct result of customer feedback, as customers have requested additional tools to find new bids and keep track of bids they are following. In the BidSync Links program, the Bid Center will enable vendors to view bids they have been invited to, bids they're working on and bids that will be ending soon. In the more robust Links PLUS program, the Bid Center will maintain a record of bids that were recently matched with the subscriber as well as all the bids sent to them in their email reports. Users are also able to filter bids by product/service type, which makes it much faster to search for relevant opportunities.

Both Links and Links PLUS will feature a new "My Bids" feature, which allows vendors to flag any particular bid and have that bid be saved in a separate location for easy access at a later time. The My Bids feature is an easy-to-use tool that helps track bids of particular interest to the vendor.

New user interface:

Both Links and Links PLUS have undergone a major facelift to the look and feel of the user interface. While it has always been an easy platform to use, BidSync has implemented several changes based on customer input that make the pages more intuitive and useful. These changes include the following.

  • An individual vendor home page for Links and Links PLUS users
  • A "My Account" tab in the Menu Bar: The addition of this tab replaces the old "Tools" tab and is the gateway for users to manage anything to do with their account or profile.
  • The design allows for easier recognition of important updates such as:
    • Addendums as well as questions and answers on bids
    • Subscription Management so users can view current subscription status and purchase new subscriptions
    • News & Promotional updates displayed on the home page, allowing vendors to see the latest updates and promotional offers
    • Bid Search has been added to every page in the global header to provide vendors more convenient access
    • The Search UI provides easier navigation and search parameters for both Links and Links PLUS bids
    • Bid Report emails have a cleaner look for quicker recognition of relevant bids
