Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. Receives New Ticker Symbol BPWI

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 10, 2007) - Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BPWI) announced today that the Company has completed the restructuring of its stock, effective August 10, 2007, and will be trading under the new ticker symbol BPWI. The former symbol was BPWW. The Company has implemented a 250 to 1 reverse stock split of its outstanding common stock for shareholders of record as of August 10.

The Big Apple Worldwide Board of Directors approved the capital restructuring to better position the Company for investment, reduce market volatility and position itself for profitability in the next 12 to 18 months. The Company will be placing its "No More Books™" kiosks in retail stores starting in New York City and Chicago in the coming months with the goal of revolutionizing the way consumers shop for wallcoverings. The kiosks will replace the heavy, space-consuming sample books with a Web-based system powered by a database of thousands of wallcovering choices from numerous manufacturers. This new system is estimated to reduce the time consumers spend selecting wallcovering by over 90 percent and reduces the retail floor space needed by over 95 percent.

"The financial restructuring has been completed and we look forward to the rollout of our kiosk program. We are in the midst of testing the kiosk's Web-based ordering system, and eagerly await the installation of the kiosks in retail locations throughout the United States," stated Neal Jablon, President of Big Apple Worldwide, Inc.
