NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 6, 2008) - Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BPWI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry R. Eckstein to its Board of Directors. Mr. Eckstein is an accomplished leader with more than 40 years of business experience in various arenas including marketing, sales, product development, operations, fiscal and program management. He replaces Gary T. Rizzo, who recently resigned from the Board.

Mr. Eckstein was a founding member of TLSI, Inc., a New York-based high technology Company, where he served in numerous managerial, business development, financial, and technical capacities. He is a Certified Financial Planner with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. Throughout his career he has increased profit margins through cost management and process improvements, negotiated customer/vendor contracts, and headed business development and risk management.
