Scout Wellness and Bungalow Horizon to Develop New Media and Marketing Platform Focusing on New Mothers' First 1001 Days

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - January 15, 2015) - Big Belli, Scout Wellness and Bungalow Horizon announced today that they have collaborated to produce 40 Weeks, the first unscripted documentary film to offer an intimate look into the week-by-week journey of pregnant women across the country. Bungalow Horizon is the branded content division of Horizon Media, and Scout Wellness, also a division of Horizon Media, is the first dedicated health and wellness consulting unit empowering marketers to take action against global health and wellness challenges.

40 Weeks follows 13 pregnant mothers and their families throughout varied socio-economic situations to examine and address topics surrounding pregnancy and child birth such as sonograms, morning sickness, prenatal nutrition, screenings, safe remedies, fetal development, preparing for delivery, single parenting, same-sex parenting, health risks, pre-term labor, low birth weight, home safety, preparing to bring the baby home, and more.

Scout Wellness has been tapped to develop the marketing strategy around the feature-length documentary, including the development of a digital platform, the creation of events, and securing media, retail, and advertising partners in support of Big Belli's 40 Weeks. Bungalow Horizon is integrally involved in the production and distribution strategy of the 40 Weeks film across media platforms, live events and digital media.

Scout Wellness will lead the roll out of 1,000 screenings across the country in February, 2015.
