Big Rock Brewery to Donate $25,108.00 to Alberta's Flood Victims

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 13, 2005) - Big Rock Brewery (TSX:BR.UN), Alberta's premium brewery, is proud to donate $25,108.00 - a result of the $2.00 flood donation on all Centennial Variety Packs sold from June 1st to August 31st in Alberta.

All proceeds raised have been given to the Canadian Red Cross to reach flood victims throughout Alberta. Over the past months, the Canadian Red Cross has activated its Provincial Disaster Response Team to assist thousands of people across Central and Southern Alberta who have been affected by flooding.

In 2003, Big Rock Brewery raised $60,000 to aid farmers affected by drought; and in 2004, the brewery raised $20,000 to aid ranchers affected by the BSE crisis.

Big Rock's 2005 Alberta Centennial Pack is designed to build awareness of Alberta's 100th birthday, and promote provincial pride and travel by highlighting many of Alberta's unique destinations and attractions.

Albertans across the province still have the opportunity to purchase the commemorative cases and enter the 'Stamp Around Alberta' contest and win one of six Alberta Dream Vacations.
