Editors Note: There are two photos and a video associated with this Press Release.

Big Rock Brewery Income Trust (TSX:BR.UN) - These girls definitely have a better summer job than you do. The 'chosen ones' are currently traveling across Canada reporting on the Canadian music festival scene The mission: Show Canada what makes each festival unique and rate the kettle corn at each one.

Big Rock has been a long-time supporter of festivals across Canada and (back in the summer of 2008) the Grasshoppin' contest was created to generate awareness of all of those festivals. Claire and Bryn submitted an entry video that truly showed their commitment to the entire festival experience, that they possess the insight necessary to ask tough questions and that they are eager to go behind-the-scenes and understand the inner workings of music festivals.

While Big Rock supports a number of Canadian festivals the Festival Fields Reporters chose to travel to:

1. Winnipeg Folk Festival - July 8 - 12

2. Yellowknife Folk on the Rocks - July 17-19

3. Calgary Folk Music Festival - July 23 - 26

4. Edmonton Folk Music Festival - August 6 - 9

5. Ottawa Folk Festival - August 21-23

While Claire and Bryn manage their reporting duties they will watch for others who share a passion for music, festivals and beer. When they hang up their Big Rock festival tarps at the end of the summer there will be an opening at Big Rock; Big Rock is accepting "applications" until the end of August 2009 at which time they will award two more Canadians the coveted Festival Field Reporter prize including a trip to five festivals, in five Canadian cities - flying on Canada's favourite airline: WestJet.

To hear more from Claire and Bryn and to stay on top of the Canadian music festival scene tune into the Grasshoppin' blog at and join their Facebook group: Big Rock Brewery: Grasshoppin' Contest.
