Bigben Interactive Announces New PlayStation®3 and 3DS Gaming Accessories

QuickFire PlayStation®3 Controller Offers Unrivalled Fire Power and 3DS and PS3 Parental Control Units Allows Adults to Set Safe Gaming Limits

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 28, 2012) - Bigben Interactive, global designer, manufacturer and distributor of peripherals today announced three new accessories: QuickFire Destruction Pad for PlayStation®3 and Parental Control kits for Nintendo 3DS and PS3. Coming this spring, each product fulfills a unique need in the video game industry.

"Whether you want an edge up on the competition in Call of Duty 3 or any First Person Shooter game with the QuickFire PS3 controller, or need to set clear gaming limits for children on 3DS or PS3, Bigben offers a great new lineup of peripherals this spring," said Olivier Veyrac, vice president, Bigben Interactive, North America.

QuickFire Destruction PlayStation 3 Controller
The ultimate shooting game experience is now possible with the wireless QuickFire Destruction Pad for PlayStation®3. More than a classic PS3 controller, it offers manually adjusted firepower of 6 to 60 shots per second, an LCD screen and eight fully programmable buttons. Hardcore FPS gamers have extensively tested and agree that QuickFire is one of the most versatile and responsive PlayStation 3 controllers available. It features secure grips, an ergonomic design and non-slip triggers.

Gamers can choose from one of the five preset modes or program any of the buttons to heighten any gaming experience -- from sports to fighting to shooting games.

QuickFire will be sold online at a SRP of $59.99 and available in March 2012. It is available for preorder on and it will also be sold online with other major retailers such as and Connect with other gamers and look for QuickFire product updates on the Facebook page:

3DS Parental Control
With the Parental Control kit for Nintendo 3DS™ by Bigben Interactive, there are no more arguments, only safe video game limits. The 3DS Parental Control allows the adult to determine a maximum gaming time per day or per gaming session while also assuring games are played at a safe viewing distance.

It detects the space between the screen and the child's eyes, assuring a safe 3D gaming distance is met. It will emit a loud signal if the player is less than 9 inches viewing distance away from the game system screen.

Through a detachable key, adults can set the gameplay time to 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes for a session and between 1 and 4 hours for a day. The handheld system, which also doubles as a sturdy case, gives a warning signal five minutes prior to shutdown so that the child can save the game. When the time is up, it will automatically quit the game.

The Parental Control for 3DS™ is available for purchase online with major retailers such as and sold for a SRP of $39.99. It will begin shipping to customers in April 2012.

PlayStation®3 Parental Control
The Parental Control is also available on PlayStation®3. The classic wireless controller has the added ability to digitally set the gaming time on an LCD screen, using a customer created password.

Game sessions can last as little as 15 minutes or up to 3 hours. A few minutes before time is up, the controller gives two warning signals, prompting the player to save the game progress. After that, the game automatically ends.

The PS3 Parental Control Pad features ergonomic enhancements such as non-slip, angled shoulder buttons. PlayStation 3 Parental Control will be sold online this March for $39.99.
