The conference was an educational forum for regional farmers and growers to help them advance their business. Bill the Butcher is a key purchaser of meats from organic and sustainable farms in the region.

Bill the Butcher sponsored the conference's keynote speaker, Jim Gerrish, a rancher, author, speaker, and expert in grazing lands for economic and environmental sustainability.
