Bill Gates Says Internet to Revolutionize TV in 5 Years and Wi-Fi TV Hopes to Jumpstart Trend With Premiere of Social Internet TV on Feb. 19

Free Wi-Fi TV Site to Launch With 450 Live Stations, Live Chat for Each Program, Free VoIP Calls, Free Online Parties and New Features to Be Announced

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 13, 2007 -- The Internet is set to revolutionize television within five years, due to an explosion of online video content and the merging of PCs and TV sets, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates said recently; and, Wi-Fi TV Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTVI) is touting its latest Social Internet TV site (www.Wi-FiTV.com) as the place online where "the future is now," according to Director Lisa Pahl. Wi-Fi TV™ will be launching the latest version of its Social Internet TV™ on Feb. 19 at www.Wi-FiTV.com, and introducing its Wi-FiTVA -- Wi-Fi Targeted Video Advertising on the same day. Wi-Fi TV will also be presenting a webcast on its home page February 19th providing an overview of the web site and its development.

At the 2007 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Bill Gates said, "I'm stunned how people aren't seeing that with TV, in five years from now, people will laugh at what we've had," he told business leaders and politicians The rise of high-speed Internet and the popularity of video sites has already led to a worldwide decline in the number hours spent by young people in front of a TV set.

"In the years ahead, more and more viewers will hanker after the flexibility offered by online video and abandon conventional broadcast television, with its fixed program slots and advertisements that interrupt shows," Gates said.

"Certain things like elections or the Olympics really point out how TV is terrible. You have to wait for the guy to talk about the thing you care about or you miss the event and want to go back and see it," he said.

"Internet presentation of these things is vastly superior," Mr. Gates added. Mr. Gates also spoke about the future of TV and the Internet on the NBC Today show.
