Bill Lawler Joins Skilljar as New VP of Sales

Seasoned SaaS Sales Leader to Direct Fast-Growing Revenue Team

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2016) - Skilljar, a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) platform for enterprises and their customers, announced today that Bill Lawler has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Lawler brings more than 25 years of experience in technology sales, most recently at Socrata. As Skilljar continues to take on new clients and business partners, Lawler will be leading the revenue team and playing a key role in achieving the company's long-term growth goals.

The LMS space is not new to Lawler. In addition to leading the sales team at Socrata, he was also responsible for customer success and selected the Skilljar solution for customer onboarding and training. Bill is well-versed in complex SaaS solution sales, having also consulted for sales teams at DocuSign and Pitchbook.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the Skilljar team," says Lawler. "As a previous customer, I've been a fan ever since the first conversation, so I couldn't pass on the opportunity to be a part of their growing success. I'm looking forward to what we can achieve together."

"I'm so excited to welcome Bill to our executive team," says Sandi Lin, CEO and co-founder of Skilljar. "It's a unique opportunity for us to have a previous customer now leading our acquisition strategy, and Bill's wealth of industry knowledge has already made him a valuable addition to our team."
