Record Turnout of Private Equity Firms Expected for Nation's Largest M&A Event

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 6, 2008) - Corporate executives interested in tapping the private equity market for cash to fuel their companies' growth will be heading to Beverly Hills on September 16 and 17. "The firms participating in the Capital Connection each have hundreds of millions to billions of dollars in capital for which they are seeking attractive investments in middle-market companies," said James B. Freedman, Chair of the Conference Committee and Founder and Managing Director of the Los Angeles-based investment banking firm Barrington Associates, a division of Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

"Just as important, these firms provide enormously valuable expertise to the companies in which they invest, offering guidance and strategic relationships that can significantly accelerate the growth of these companies," Mr. Freedman said.

The two-day conference features globally renowned speakers from the worlds of business, technology and public affairs, plus an array of technical and breakout sessions that explore strategies and issues related to finance and corporate growth.
