DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - On behalf of its client, H-E-B, Binswanger is pleased to announce the sale of a 160-acre property in the Temple Industrial Park in Temple, Texas.
The buyer, H-E-B, is one of the largest privately held food retailers in Texas. The San Antonio-based company plans to construct a 400,000 sq. ft. distribution center that will serve its stores in north central Texas. H-E-B expects to employ 112 workers at their new facility. The strategic location, including the excellent highway system and rail access, contributed to the decision to locate in Temple. H-E-B currently operates 300 stores in Texas and Mexico, and employs 70,000 people.
The Temple Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) and City of Temple was the seller.
