BiodeLices Inc. Receives Support from Government of Canada


THETFORD MINES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 20, 2014) - Canada Economic Development

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Christian Paradis, Member of Parliament for Mégantic-L'Érable and Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie, today announced that the firm Biodélices Inc. has been granted financial assistance from the Government of Canada to improve its productivity.

This support has been awarded in the form of an $83,500 repayable financial contribution through the Canadian Initiative for the Economic Diversification of Communities Reliant on Chrysotile.

  • Biodélices Inc. specializes in the production of organic-certified maple products (maple butter, maple jelly, maple sugar) for upscale markets.

  • The project will enable the company to raise productivity by expanding its processing unit and acquiring equipment for a new production line, which is expected to result in the creation of two jobs.
