Biodiesel Finance & Investment Summit to Be Held at the Princeton Club in New York City

Fourth Consecutive Event in Two Years Signals a Renewed Interest in Biodiesel as a Key Component in the Upcoming Energy Bill

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 18, 2007) - Infocast's Biodiesel Finance & Investment Summit will take place January 14-16, 2008 at the Princeton Club in New York City and will feature 33 speakers from the biodiesel development and financial communities who will detail the challenges and opportunities posed by the prospective elements of the much-anticipated Energy Bill that is scheduled for passage just prior to the new year.

Two renowned pioneers in the relatively young biodiesel industry, Martin Tobias of Imperium Renewables and Gene Gebolys of World Energy Alternatives, will deliver keynote addresses on consecutive mornings of the Summit, in addition to a special luncheon speaker, James W. Eiler, Principal of Eiler Capital Advisors LLC, who will highlight the perspective of the financial community.

The fourth consecutive event in less than half the number of years, the Biodiesel Finance & Investment Summit will also feature presentations by Todd Alexander of Chadbourne & Parke, Christopher Groobey of Baker & McKenzie and a session moderated by Peter Moss, President of Frazier Barnes & Associates on the lightning-hot topic of feedstocks. The high cost of conventional feedstock (soybean oil) has proven to be the Achilles heel of the biodiesel industry by cutting deal flow and creating ongoing uncertainty. Mr. Moss's session will examine the potential of new feedstocks such as Jatropha, determine the stage of development of the technologies created to process them and predict the impact of these new feedstocks on industry economics -- an impact that many experts believe will be essential for the biodiesel industry to survive -- and thrive!

A workshop, "How To Finance A Biodiesel Project," will precede the Summit on Monday, January 14th and will feature a distinguished faculty including Ralph Cho of West LB Securities, Scott McDermott of Ascendant Partners and Nate Berk of FC Stone, among others.
