BioPassword Launches Alliance Program to Deliver Integrated Software Authentication Solutions for Customers

Keystroke Biometric Provider Announces Initial Program Members Ping Identity, DocuSign, and HP

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - June 5, 2007) - BioPassword, Inc., the leader in software-only strong authentication, today announced the creation of the BioPassword® Alliance Program, a technology, ISV and service provider partnership program that was launched to meet the growing demand for cost-effective, easy-to-deploy software authentication solutions. The Alliance Program will include a wide range of solutions including application software, Software as a Service Web-enabled applications, remote access and corporate computing environments. The Alliance Program will provide BioPassword customers with unparalleled access to software-only strong authentication through complementary relationships in many industries, starting with new, integrated offerings with Ping Identity, DocuSign, and HP.

BioPassword's Web-based authentication solution, BioPassword® Internet Edition 2.1, a multi-factor keystroke biometric solution that identifies users by analyzing a combination of standard login credentials (userID and password) and keystroke biometrics (unique typing rhythm), is integrated into a partnership offering with Ping Identity, enabling customers to utilize a powerful authentication platform for enabling single sign-on, verifying identity, and controlling internal and external access across a broad landscape of web applications.

"Ping Identity and BioPassword are teaming up to deliver identity management innovation to the enterprise," said Mike Donaldson, vice president of marketing for Ping Identity. "Our participation in BioPassword's Alliance Program is the next step toward expanding the reach of our federated Web single sign-on solution."

On demand Software is experiencing strong customer growth across many industries. BioPassword and DocuSign, the premier on demand service for delivering e-signature solutions, present an integrated offering that provides enhanced security, cost effectiveness and scalability.

"BioPassword's technology is a natural complement to DocuSign, providing another layer of security to our market-leading on demand electronic signature offering," said Lambert Jemley, vice president of marketing for DocuSign. "The Alliance Program should drive a more integrated and seemless solution, which ultimately benefits the overall marketplace."

BioPassword® Enterprise Edition 3.0, the company's scalable keystroke biometric solution for enterprises of all sizes, adds remote access authentication scenarios through compatibility with Outlook Web Access (OWA). It also adds support for Microsoft Windows® XP Embedded thin clients and works with the leading server-based computing environments. This added functionality led HP, the world's fastest growing thin client manufacturer, to also join the Alliance Program.

"As security is a key issue that thin clients help resolve for a large number of HP customers, we are pleased that HP thin clients are certified with the BioPassword solution as an option to provide multi-factor authentication across HP's Windows XP Embedded offerings," said Tad Bodeman, director, remote client solutions, for HP. "This alliance program will allow HP and BioPassword to provide an increasing number of enterprises with more comprehensive security, speed and flexibility for their employees' remote computing solutions."

"BioPassword is excited about these initial relationships for the Alliance Program, which represent our drive toward complementary and scalable solutions to help our customers meet their authentication objectives," said John Przelenski, vice president of business development at BioPassword. "We will continue to pursue partnerships with market leaders in remote access, single sign-on, application and on demand software, service providers and other fast-growing environments in order to deliver a more secure and comprehensive offering to our customers."
