Birmingham Chiropractor Releases New Wellness Website

BIRMINGHAM, MI--(Marketwire - Mar 6, 2012) - Dr. Jennifer Turnbull Bonde, the Birmingham chiropractor who owns and operates Birmingham Wellness Center with a team of other chiropractors, has just launched a new website and social media presence for the center. According to Dr. Bonde, the new website was designed as a resource for patients and anyone in the area seeking information about healthy living and chiropractic care. It has a publicly-accessible library of articles as well as a membership area for current patients. Visitors to the site can also learn about the chiropractors' nutritional counseling, sports chiropractic and other services, set up appointments and participate in their blog.

Dr. Bonde says that she hopes the new website will inspire people to make healthy lifestyle choices. "We are excited about the library of information we've gathered about how chiropractic care helps people with a wide range of health problems. It's not just for people with back pain or neck pain. The site describes how we use posture analysis, sports chiropractic services when people are injured, how we help people lose weight and get healthier overall with nutritional counseling, and how we help everyone from little babies with colic to grandmothers with hip pain. People can use the information on the site to make informed choices and take control of their own health and wellness." Visitors to the site can find this library under the "Community Content" menu on the right side of every page.

Dr. Bonde says that the "Member Wellness" menu was designed for the center's current patients. Although registration is required, the content is free of charge. It includes access to more in-depth articles about wellness care and the programs at the clinic, including applied kinesiology and a collection of exercise demonstration videos patients can use at home to ensure they are using the proper form. The Wellness4Kids link contains coloring pages, games and puzzles that teach kids the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices.

The chiropractor and her team also point out that anyone can use the site to request an appointment at the center, or simply send an email to ask questions about massage therapy, in addition to their sports chiropractic and other services. New patients can also download and fill out necessary registration forms before an appointment. Dr. Bonde says this gives her and her patients more time in the office to get to know each other and focus on their health needs.

Dr. Bonde says the new website and their Facebook page should also be fun and foster community enthusiasm. "We'll be running a wellness blog about all kinds of health and wellness issues, particularly nutritional counseling. We've even included a recipe section on the site that people can use right now to start making healthy food at home. We are excited to hear from everyone out there and start sharing ideas about staying healthy with the whole community." The new website is located at
