Birst Names Wynn White Vice President of Marketing

Industry Veteran of Oracle, BEA, and Dell Brings Marketing Expertise to Leader of Software-as-a-Service Business Intelligence

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - Birst Inc., the leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence (BI) and analytics, today announced the appointment of Wynn White as the company's vice president of marketing. White brings almost 20 years of global technology marketing experience to the company.

White joins Birst from Dell where he was Vice President of Dell KACE Worldwide Marketing, overseeing marketing, product management, and lead qualification for the industry's fastest growing systems management solution. During his tenure he oversaw KACE's growth from 300 to more than 3,000 customers and helped oversee the acquisition of KACE by Dell in 2010. Previously he served as vice president of marketing for Oracle where he led global marketing for Oracle's Enterprise Manager and security product line. White has additionally held senior marketing and product management roles at Oblix and BEA.
