Dear Shareholders of Black Art Beer:

2009 is behind us and what a building year it was. We were able to lay the groundwork for 2010 and it is with this thought in mind that we are writing this communication to you. This year should prove to be the year of wide distribution and major market dispersion for our delicious beverage products.

During 2009 Black Art publicized their Silver Medal for their Black Art Dark Beer in the Black Beer, Lager category with a score of 89 finishing second to Sam Adams Black and their Bronze Medal in the Munich Helles, Lager category with a score of 82 for their Black Art Gold beer. In 2010 we will be entering into several categories with our newest beer styles including: Carmel, Radler, Lite and Hefeweizen.

We reported on our relationship with Kroger's supermarkets in December and as an update to that news we are happy to report that the beer will be in the stores and for sale in the spring. Our news indicated that we received Kroger's agreement for shelf placement and that is what has happened however sales will begin in April within the Indianapolis KMA.

Our sales team in conjunction with our alliance with Maximum Marketing has had some successes in enjoining other distributors in selling our beer on the East Coast, Midwest and Southern areas. The most recent addition to the Black Art family of distributors is Lipman Brothers who distribute in Tennessee. Information on Lipman Brothers may be accessed on We would also like to announce International Wine and Spirits as our newest distributor for the Louisiana market. In the coming weeks we will have more great news available as we continue to establish contractual relationships and booking of additional container sales.

Our business strategy incorporates our dedication to corporate citizenship. Black Art's responsible business practices span the areas of product stewardship, human resources, ethics, environmental management, supply chain management, governance, and financial disclosure to create sustainability for competitive advantage.

We are pleased with our infrastructure building in fiscal 2009 and believe the roads we paved during the past 9 months will begin paying off in terms of our business and financial metrics. Going into fiscal 2010, we will continue to focus on building our distributor and territory base.

There is giant confidence that we are building a memorable brand and that Black Art is a company that is built to last. On behalf of our Management and Board of Directors, we would like to thank our customers, partners, employees, and shareholders for your continued confidence and support.
