Black Bull Resources Inc.: Quartz Processing Plant Commissioning Complete-Production Poised to Start

SHELBURNE, NOVA SCOTIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 13, 2006) - Black Bull Resources Inc. (BBS) (TSX VENTURE:BBS) is pleased to announce that the construction and commissioning phase of our operations has been successfully completed at the White Rock property. The processing plant is now staffed and a plant superintendent has been hired to manage plant operations. Production is scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2006, with the processing of sample orders of Scotia White™ quartz requested by prospective customers. The approval process for these samples will vary by market segment and customer but will likely take from 3 to 12 weeks before meaningful orders materialize. Our marketing department will continue to work with our sales agent, U.S. Silica Company, to identify additional market opportunities with the obvious objectives of building sales volume and generating positive cash flow as quickly as possible.

As well, BBS has just completed a blast of an additional 12,000 tonnes of quartz material. This will add to the inventory previously re-processed, and ensure we have adequate feed stock for the new processing plant during the winter months.
