Black Diamond Dene Awarded Outstanding Achievement Award by the BC Achievement Foundation


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2011) - Black Diamond Group Limited ("Black Diamond" or "the Company) (TSX:BDI) is pleased to announce the Black Diamond Dene L.P. will be recognized with an Outstanding Achievement Award for Joint Venture Business of the Year at the third annual BC Aboriginal Business Awards in Vancouver, BC on December 1, 2011.

Black Diamond Dene L.P. is an equity-based partnership between the Fort Nelson First Nation (the "Nation") and Black Diamond Group Limited, structured to provide customers in the Horn River Basin with quality, competitively-priced products while allowing the Fort Nelson First Nation an opportunity to participate and benefit in the development of their traditional lands. The 50/50 equity partnership was formed in 2009 and is focused on revenue generation and the building of community capacity by providing a steady revenue stream to the Nation and ownership in assets that will have long-lasting economic benefits to the community.
