Black Diamond Group Opens New Lodge in Chetwynd, B.C.

Lodge will serve diverse industry workforce accommodation demand in the region


CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - December 06, 2017) - (TSX: BDI) Black Diamond Group, a leading provider of modular workspace solutions and workforce accommodations, announces the opening of Little Prairie Lodge in Chetwynd.

The 252-Person Lodge provides temporary workforce accommodation to serve diverse industry demand from infrastructure, oil and gas, wind power developments, and mining activity in the region surrounding Chetwynd, Fort St. John and Dawson Creek in northern British Columbia.

Black Diamond completed installation and began welcoming industry customers to Little Prairie Lodge in November. The lodge was built by redeploying existing underutilized assets and features executive rooms with private washrooms, Jack and Jill's with shared washrooms, catered meals, a recreation area, Wi-Fi, and onsite security to ensure guests enjoy safe, healthy and secure accommodations.

With the opening of Little Prairie Lodge, Black Diamond's overall capacity for operated and rental camps in the Canadian shale gas regions of the Montney and Duvernay actively deployed now exceed 2,500 rooms of capacity.
