"Black Lives Do Matter" - Steven Ratliff Is Offering $1 Million Worth of Business Mentoring to African American Men & Women Nationwide

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - July 29, 2016) - Steven Ratliff, "The Relentless Capitalist," has just announced that he is offering a $1 million in free business mentoring to young black men and women across the country who want to learn about investing and entrepreneurship, with the goal of challenging other business leaders to contribute their expertise as well. The underlying hope is that through innovation, education and mentoring, the business community and country can come together to make a difference.

Mr. Ratliff is a serial entrepreneur, a seasoned real estate investor, an established venture capitalist, and a celebrated media personality who has spent over three and a half decades successfully navigating the booms and busts in a variety of markets. This unique moniker and resume has enabled Ratliff to establish himself as one of the nation's leading experts in business and in real estate.

Ratliff's experience is multifarious. He's the founder and CEO of Phoenix-based Ratliff Investments, which specializes in the acquisition and invigoration of business and realty assets across the country. He's also the host of "The Relentless Capitalist" radio show, where he brings his business acumen to the table along with his hardnosed one-liners, as he covers politics, business and helps to illustrate the inner game of success.

Ratliff was moved to initiate his free mentoring program after the officer involved shootings of black motorists earlier in the month, and the subsequent backlash in the African American community.

"Socrates said the secret of change is focusing your energy not on the old but on building the new," Ratliff infers. "I'm asking other likeminded business leaders and creative thinkers to help me build a new paradigm in the inner city, one of financial empowerment and success, instead of one of discouragement and despair."

Ratliff doesn't believe in rags to riches; he believes in turning passion and dreams into surefire realities. "I've successfully mentored hot dog cart vendors into multi-millionaires," he explains. "I know that anybody can make it in America, given the proper tools and mindset, and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is."
