Black Pearl Drills High Grade Copper at 4 Metals Property; Mobilizes Into the Gold Dust Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 7, 2007) - Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. (BLK) (TSX VENTURE:BLK) announces the following activity on its exploration and development projects.

Four Metals Polymetallic Project; The results of the first two holes from the core drilling program at the Four Metals polymetallic project near Nogales, Arizona are presented below. Due to difficult ground conditions both holes were abandoned prior to reaching target depth. Hole FM 07-03 penetrated the enrichment blanket characterized by chalcocite mineralization and returned 9 meters grading 0.65% copper. The hole entered the breccia pipe high grade zone at 162 meters and returned 0.056% molybdenum over 13.5 meters and 0.49% copper and 0.037% molybdenum over 14.3 meters before the hole was abandoned. The final four samples assayed 0.88% copper and 0.035% molybdenum over the final 5.32 meters.

This drill program is focusing on expanding the high grade zones of the deposit. An additional 1200 meters of drilling is planned in this program and additional results will be reported as received.

Ferro/Wekusko Gold Property; During March and April the Company mobilized the heavy equipment into the Gold Dust Zone on the Company's property located 20 km east of Snow Lake, Manitoba over a previously established winter road. On site now are two 25-tonne capacity mining trucks, a large excavator, a portable crushing unit, a D5 dozer, Cat 322 backhoe, 50,000 liters of diesel and camp units. This equipment will be used for the removal and on-site processing of 9110 tonnes as a bulk sample to be extracted from an area drilled on close spacing by the Company during the winters on 2005 and 2006. Mining operations are scheduled to begin after break-up in late may or June. The Company will use the bulk sample test results to provide critical metallurgical and grade continuity information for future development plans on the property.
