Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc.: Multi-Ounce Gold Per Tonne Blast Hole Results Received From Gold Dust Zone, Snow Lake, Manitoba

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 7, 2007) - Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BLK) has received the blast hole assay results from the initial 111 blast holes drilled on the first of its bulk sampling program on the Gold Dust Zone. Twenty six holes reported grades between 3 to 121 grams per tonne over their 3 meter depths and define the vein over a strike length of 35 meters. These holes, listed in a northeasterly direction, are reported below;

------------------------------------------------
Hole # Grade Hole # Grade Hole # Grade
(GPT) (GPT) (GPT)
------------------------------------------------
HW1 22.53 47987 56.89 47890 121.00
HW3 10.39 47988 15.67 47893 15.26

47965 111.80 47858 4.15 47876 17.49
47966 56.24 47857 10.60 47877 17.94

47973 38.72 47882 33.81 47909 18.04
47976 33.71 47885 14.09 47897 21.78
47986 3.91 47891 3.02

Each blast hole defines an estimated 12.6 tonnes and the holes will be loaded and shot for removal to a stockpile which will be processed next spring. The holes listed above are estimated to contain 285 ounces of gold in 328 tonnes (27 gpt) although some dilution with lower grade material is expected to occur during their excavation.

The tonnage of vein material outlined by the blast holes received to date represents less than 2% of the estimated 44,000 tonnes of potential ore-bearing vein scheduled to be removed from the test pit over the next few months.

These results are considerably higher than those which were expected based on the closely-spaced holes drilled under this section of the vein. This supports the premise that the highly erratic distribution of gold in the Wekusko Area veins means that an accurate determination of tonnage and grade requires direct sampling in three dimensions and cannot be determined by drilling alone. The values received to date do, however, correlate well with previously reported surface channel sample results.

Additional Channel Samples

The Company has also received assay results from the remaining channel samples which were taken over the veining exposed in the test pit area and significant results are presented below;

--------------------------------
Sample # Width (m) Gold (GPT)
--------------------------------
414 0.70 16.8
406 0.95 27.0
445 0.90 25.8
436 0.53 20.3
506 0.58 14.9
5032 1.00 13.0
5030 1.15 3.6
5031 1.80 4.7
5037 0.56 5.0
5035 1.20 3.2
5048 0.60 28.3
7951 0.60 9.4
7843 0.75 3.5
7844 1.25 21.0
7848 1.10 7.3

Most of the samples above were taken outside of the targeted section of vein to be tested for the bulk sample and represent material which might be recovered from the ramp area of the test pit. Sampling was restricted to vein exposures and widths may not represent the full widths of the vein at that location. The channel samples will be used to guide the placement of blast holes for ore extraction.

The Company has examined the previously purchased 10 tonne per hour gold recovery plant at Gekko Systems Pty Ltd of Ballarat, Australia and authorized its shipment to Canada on December 24, 2007 to be transported over winter roads to the site in February 2008. After assembly and commissioning, this plant will process the bulk sample stockpiled over the winter during next spring.

THE GOLD DUST BULK SAMPLING PROGRAM

In the autumn of 2006 the Company received permission to extract, by open cut methods, and process up to 9110 tonnes of ore from the Gold Dust Zone of its Wekusko Lake Gold Property near Snow Lake, Manitoba. The purpose of the Program is to characterize the geological and metallurgical nature of the upper portion of the Gold Dust ore shoots to gain important information for the possible full scale exploitation of the deeper Gold Dust Zone and other known zones on the property including the Ferro and McCafferty. The bulk sample program will investigate and stockpile vein material from areas defined by the following drill holes completed by the Company during winter campaigns in 2005 and 2006 and by previous operators.
