CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 1, 2010) - Lone Worker Safety Solutions Inc., Big Sky Call Centers Inc., and Blackline GPS Corp. ("Blackline") (TSX VENTURE:BLN) are pleased to announce the establishment of a new partnership in parallel with the sale of Loner GPS™ to the North Carolina Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County ("WSACC") which represents Cabarrus County, the Cities of Concord and Kannapolis, and the Towns of Harrisburg and Mount Pleasant.

Lone Worker Safety Solutions is pleased to have consulted with the North Carolina municipality to provide a lone worker solution that is monitored by Big Sky Call Centers, based in Calgary, Canada. Brad McIntosh, President of Lone Worker Safety Solutions and Big Sky Call Centers said, "We have viewed lone worker safety as a field with the highest growth in our call center business. Loner GPS™ represents one of the markets best safety products and we're excited to work in concert with Blackline to provide WSACC this world class solution".

The North Carolina Department of Labor recognized WSACC as a workplace with exemplary occupational safety and health programs and awarded the WSACC the Public Sector Star, becoming the 13th Public Sector Star site in North Carolina. "With the adoption of the Blackline GPS safety product, WSACC can better ensure the safety of their employees, mitigate risks to the employee and our municipality, while providing clear execution on our mission to remain among the best employers to work for", said Chris Carpenter Senior E & I Technician & SCADA Sytems for WSACC.

"Blackline is pleased to have signed a partnership with Lone Worker Safety Solutions , a business solely dedicated to lone worker safety. This partnership and the solution delivered to WSACC marks the beginning of many such customers who will benefit from the collaborative approach between Lone Worker Safety Solutions and Blackline", said Blackline President & CEO, Clark Swanson.

Lone workers comprise an estimated 10% of workforce labor characterized under work alone conditions. The venture for call center monitoring and Blackline safety solutions is a significant development that delivers customers a reduction in fixed costs through exception monitoring, while improving safety and work-safe procedures. In many jurisdictions throughout the world, government agencies also legislate and enforce lone worker safety.

The product, Loner GPS ™, is a small, fits-on-the-hip product that was developed as part of a larger product portfolio offering location based services. The size of a mobile phone, Loner™ is worn by the lone worker and constantly provides the lone worker's GPS location both indoors and outdoors.
