Blackstone Enhances New Copper-Zinc-Lead Discovery in Sweden

(TSX VENTURE:BLV) has discovered additional high grade copper-zinc-lead mineralization at its 100% owned Uma property in northern Sweden. Grab samples from newly discovered surface outcroppings and glacial boulders returned values as high as 6.64% Cu and 20.9% Zn, 16.75% Pb, 87gpt Ag and 0.54gpt Au.

A complete table of results and a location map is provided in an appendix to this press release.

"High grade samples from outcrops and boulders have been found over a strike length of at least 20 kilometres. Three discrete areas are emerging in the northeast portion of this land package, where sampling has returned very high values in Cu, Zn, Pb, Ag and Au. There are still several glacially deposited boulder clusters which will require follow up work to determine their source locations. These outcrops and boulders are associated with alteration zones typical of polymetallic Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposits suggesting the presence of a large mineralized system at shallow depths. These outstanding results demonstrate the excellent potential for the discovery of a new copper-zinc-lead VMS camp. An airborne geophysical survey has been contracted to prioritize targets for a winter drill program," commented Dean MacEachern, Chief Operating Officer for the company.

The exploration program is carried out under the direction of Jari Paakki, P. Geo., Vice President of Project Development for Blackstone and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Blackstone is a mineral exploration company with an extensive land package in Scandanavia. The Company is currently working on a nickel focused 25,000 metre drilling campaign in each of Norway and Sweden with a total of nine drills operating. Due to extremely high demand for assay laboratory services, results from over 1,000 drill core samples are still outstanding. APPENDIX

The Uma property lies between the Stekenjokk and Sulitjelma deposits, both with historic resources in excess of 20 million tonnes. Samples presented in the table below represent boulders or in situ outcropping mineralization collected by BLV from the property or SGU archived samples which were re-analyzed by BLV as indicated.
