BlastGard International Reports Second Quarter 2009 Results

CLEARWATER, FL--(Marketwire - August 14, 2009) - BlastGard International (OTCBB: BLGA) reported financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

Revenues for the second quarter were $707 compared to $8,324 reported in the second quarter of 2008. For the second quarter of 2009, BlastGard International reported a net loss of $194,577 or $(0.00) per share based on the weighted average of 46,765,900 shares outstanding compared to a net loss of $387,717 or $(0.01) per share reported in the second quarter of 2008 based on the weighted average shares outstanding of 40,013,544. Our ability to continue as a going concern requires the immediate raise of capital from the sale of capital stock, debt borrowings and/or immediate revenues from operations.
